VIMFF 2007 TICKETS
Please choose from the selections below, and you can return to this page after each selection. Tickets purchased on-line will be available for pick-up prior to the screening and throughout the festival at the Centennial Theatre. (The purchased tickets won’t be sent by mail.)
VIMFF on-line tickets are only available here for the Centennial Theatre major evening shows on February 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24. Other tickets are available at the door only (these shows usually don’t sell out).
The VIMFF Centennial Theatre packages – 2 evening tickets + 1 matinee at $25; and 3 evening tickets + 2 matinees – are only available at the Centennial Theatre, 2300 Lonsdale Avenue, (604) 984-4484.
Please note: The on-line ticket sales, as well as the sales at MEC will end on the day before the show (for instance, you can buy tickets for the Friday February 16 show only until Thursday February 15). Please make sure to buy the tickets ahead of time. The only chance of buying the tickets on the day of the show is at the Centennial Theatre, 2300 Lonsdale Avenue, (604) 984-4484, or at the door.

VIMFF Festival Opening, Presented by MEC, with Opening Reception; VIMFF 2007 Photo Contest Awards and Exhibition Opening; Himalayan veteran Dan Mazur and Andrew Brash in “Debacle on Everest and the Rescue of Lincoln Hall” live presentation: the events leading up to the May 2006 rescue on Mt Everest and other stories; and other VIMFF films screenings.
Saturday, February 17 - $15.00 advance
VIMFF Climbing Evening with leading American climbers Beth Rodden and Tommy Caldwell in “The Nose and El Capitan” live presentation and films on their free-climbing the of biggest walls via hardest and fastest ascents; and other climbing films.
Wednesday, February 21 - $15.00 advance
VIMFF World Adventures Evening with Colin Angus and Julie Wafaei in “Beyond the Horizon” live presentation and film on their mind-boggling 2 year circumnavigation of Earth using human power only; and other films.
Thursday, February 22 - $15.00 advance
VIMFF Alpine Climbing Evening, Presented by Grivel North America, featuring Kelly Cordes and some of his most inspiring dirtbag climbs in the hardest corners of the globe in “Trying, Failing, and Sometimes Succeeding: The Most Memorable Climbs”; and other films.
Friday, February 23 - $15.00 advance
VIMFF BC/Canada Evening, with the legendary Canadian Arctic explorer John Dunn in a multimedia presentation “Journeys on the Wild Side...Exploring Canada's Devon Island” on exploring the world’s largest uninhabited island; and the latest films fabriqué au Canada.
Saturday, February 24 - $15.00 advance
VIMFF Festival Finale, presented by Arc’teryx with Josune Bereziartu from Basque Country in Spain, for many years the strongest female rock and sport climber in the world; and Canada's own Sonnie Trotter with a slide presentation and the film, Cobra Crack and other theatrical acts, both real and cinematographic. Also on the same evening VIMFF Film Awards.
