Some call it Cave Unicycling, others Uni-caving, most call it madness.

On a recent trip to Cardiff, Michael and Katie Garrett were lucky enough to witness and film the world’s newest extreme sport. Some call it Cave Unicycling, others Uni-caving, most call it madness. Many said it couldn’t be done. But it has been done. And it was amazing. Steffan Thomas and Thomas Lupton have been unicycling for years and are both experienced cavers, but it was only recently that they decided to combine their two passions into this bizarre and risky new sport. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed filming it.

Michael and Katie Garrett are brother and sister filmmakers based in East London. Originally from Southampton, their filmmaking career began with a documentary project funded by the University of East Anglia, which focused on conservation volunteering in Central America. Since then they have set up Garrett and Garrett Videography, a commercial video production company specializing in promotional videos for educational organisations and charities.
