Leave the ground beneath your feet. Rise up.

Leave the ground beneath your feet, Rise up, your inner legend greet. A body in motion – Twisting, turning, churning, yearning – Apex found, heaven bound. But remember, what goes up must come down.

Bryan Smith
Bryan’s filmmaking career grew from his passion for exploring wild places by kayak and a desire to share these stories. His film 49 Megawatts, an impassioned plea to stop the damming of one of British Columbia’s wild rivers, earned him widespread recognition in both the outdoor and broader environmental communities. Film festivals have honored his films, and Red Bull has hired him to cover live events. National Geographic Expedition Council awarded Bryan a grant to explore Russia’s last great wilderness. Powder days, spring snowmelt and being a camera geek are a constant distraction, but his wife Lise-Anne and son Nelson are Bryan’s true inspiration.
