Canadian adventurer Bruce Kirkby crosses the Georgia Straight on a stand up paddleboard, and ponders the true meaning of adventure.

In the spring of 2013, Canadian adventurer Bruce Kirkby crossed the Georgia Straight from Vancouver to Victoria on a stand up paddleboard. During this journey, he contemplates what is the true meaning of adventure. Accompanying Bruce in a double kayak are Dave Quinn and filmmaker Kalum Ko.

Based out of Kimberley, BC, Kalum Ko has worked as a DP, AC, Colourist & Editor, for companies such as Sherpas Cinema, Tourism Kimberley, St. Eugene Resort & Casino. Recently, Kalum had a film selected as a finalist for the Banff Mountain Film Festival.
