VIMFF goes on tonight with 3 exciting shows!

VIMFF "Ocean Epics" at the Centennial Theatre in North Van, featuring a presentation by Jon Turk on his amazing Ellesmere Island Circumnavigation, and the world premiere of Ivan Hughes' film SOUL OF THE SEA.

Our "Alpine Adventures Night" at Denman Cinema will bring you a multiimedia presentation by top notch Polish climbers and adventurers Eliza Kubarska and David Kaslikowski, IMPOSSIBLE EXPEDITIONS, followed by a recent award winning films from the Julian Alps in Slovenia by Gregor Kresal, THE SPHINX.

Finally, at the Pacific Cinematheque, join us for a special screening of the 180 minute long truly unique film by Tim Cope, ON THE TRAIL OF GENGHIS KHAN. In June 2004 Tim set off on an epic journey, 10,000km from Mongolia to Hungary by Horse. Six years and 137 hours of film later his experience can now be seen in a documentary series titled 'The Trail of Genghis Khan.
