VIMFF Kayaking Shows, Guaranteed to Keep You Wet!

Come to Denman Cinema today at 7:30 and rock and roll around the Vancouver Island on a row boat, with a world-class adventurer Colin Angus, covering 1100 km in a world record of 15.5 days.

Films will include:

• Playgrounds Re:Imagined, directed by Seth Warren (2011, USA, 20 minutes), highlighting the work of environmental hero's working to promote and protect the places we play. It will inspire viewers to get involved with protecting and enhancing recreation areas for future generations.
• Barely Legal, by Airborne Athletics  (2011, Canada, 20 minutes)
• Tatras Wild Ride, directed by Michael Babinec (2011, Slovakia, 22 minutes), with the best Slovak extreme kayakers, brothers Tomáš and Pavol Andrássy, exploring uncharted terrain in the High Tatras, with legendary Tao Berman
