“The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is a fine festival of climbing and adventure programs that remain true to the heart of climbing. Held in the city that is the gateway to Squamish, Whistler and the Coast Range, it is a fine and relaxed gathering of sport climbers, alpinists and mountain wanderers ” (Greg Child)

VIMFF 2010 is Now History
January 30, 2010 | 235x
We had our last festival night yesterday and the 2010 VIMFF is now officially over. The sold out show went really well, with fantastic presentations by Sonnie Trotter, Will Stanhope and Sean McColl - an evening we will remember for a long time. As Sandy Briggs put it: "I like that it's about real climbing. I particularly enjoy those presentations about pushing the limits of trad climbing. I like it that Sonnie Trotter and Will Stanhope are extremely good climbers but that they are also humble. Their Canadian-ness comes through loud and clear. I like the sense of fun and camaraderie that comes through too."
Thanks to you all for making it all happen!

Organic gourmet pizza donated by Rebellious Tomato, coffee and cakes from Waves Coffee in Lynn Valley, beer from the Brew Pub in Squamish, and music by the lovely Turkish DJ duo Burinata.
