Rich Wheater is a locally raised outdoor-adventure photographer who recently released his first book, Vancouver Trail Running, a mud-lovers guide to the extensive technical singletrack lurking in the mountains around Vancouver. This new guidebook reveals nearly 50 adventurous trail running circuits in gory, colorful detail, and is packed with maps and photos to satiate runners from seawall-bound soccer Moms to the most adventurous backcountry running fanatics.
