In celebration of December 11th, International Mountain Day, Climb For Change is proud to present the 15th Annual Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival Mountain Photography Competition. The Photo Competition will run from December 11’11 to January 15’12, and is intended as an opportunity for all photographers to present their mountain photography to the public. It is a forum for the sharing of imagery and the exchange of ideas between photographers, mountaineers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
The jury-selected finalists will have their photographs displayed at VIMFF from February 10th to 18th, 2012. The festival sells out regularly and this is a great opportunity to showcase your work. In addition, there are a number of great prizes up for grabs. The grand prize winner will win a 2 week guided expedition in Northern Pakistan with Nazir Sabir Expeditions! (Airfare to Pakistan not included). Climb For Change will also be offering a People's Choice Prize for the photo with the most votes by the end of the competition.
