Throughout winter, relentless cold winds blow across Siberia and pick up moisture from the Sea of Japan.  When this wet and frigid air pushes up against the mountains of Hokkaido, mind numbing amounts of snow fall on Japan’s northern most island, providing intrepid skiers and snowboarders an incredible playground to explore.
With the rounding of each turn, in the snow encrusted silver birch groves, we were positive that we were in the company of unicorns.

Director, Ben Knight
I am a nightmare to work with. I edit slowly, I'm skeptical of everything, I'm a camera hog and I'm a perfectionist to a fault. My blood sugar lows are comparable to an introverted grizzly disturbed during hibernation, and my fleeting extroverted angelic highs are a pleasure to witness. I carefully avoid all forms of communication besides text and instagram. I am a hugger and I like cats. I couldn't tell a story verbally if my life depended on it, so that's why I make films and pictures. As usual, I was skeptical about making this film. But now I am obsessing over it... as usual.
