British adventurer Tim Emmett is a tough guy to pin down. One minute he’s BASE jumping off peaks in the Alps. Then, he’s wingsuit flying off the Squamish Chief, if he’s not pioneering the world’s hardest ice climb in Helmcken Falls. Tim is a professional extreme sports athlete and TV presenter who has appeared on numerous BBC programs. A published author and popular motivational speaker, Tim continually pushes the boundaries of physical and mental performance. He has been featured in a number of climbing and mountain films - trad climbing, free soloing, big wall climbing, ice climbing, BASE jumping - he does it all. Join Timothy for his refreshing presentation at the VIMFF Opening on Friday Feb 8 at 7:30 (doors 6:30) at the Centennial Theatre. Also on the same night: The Kyrgyzstan Project, and Auatana, two recent award-winning great climbing films.
