Hear stories of the adventures and challenges Taryn faced while exploring and documenting Vancouver Island’s stunning trails and insight into a guidebook’s journey from nebulous idea to physical book. As a long-time Leave No Trace Canada volunteer, Taryn will also discuss the sometimes complicated intersection of responsible recreation, reconciliation, gatekeeping, and outdoor writing.
